Performance

One Way Ticket R&D programme, 2013 (a ACE funded project lead by Rosemary Harris and Apples and Snakes, in collaboration with Half Moon Theatre (London), New Writing South (Brighton) and Nuffield Theatre (Southampton)

In the spring of 2013, I was selected to take part in a Research and Development programme funded by Arts Council England. I worked alongside other South East emerging artists exploring the theme of child migration and doing the groundwork for the children spoken word show One Way Ticket on British child migrants to the colonies.

In the context of this project, I wrote a piece my dad's migration from Egypt to France as a child, paralleled with my settling in the UK.
